1. Eligibility

Senior Players must have reached the age of fifty-five (55) by September 8, 2008.
Super Senior Players must have reached the age of seventy (70) by September 8, 2008.

All Players must be in possession of a recognized handicap card that has been properly attested. Entry preference will be given to members of the New Brunswick Golf Association. All golfers allowed entrance into the event are eligible to be named champion.

2. Canadian Senior

Canadian Senior Championship: Members of the NB Team are eligible to play. The NBGA will also be sending the Super Senior Champion subject to RCGA guidelines. All other players wishing to enter must meet the RCGA's entry requirements and will need to complete an RCGA entry form available from the NBGA office and the RCGA.

NB Senior Team: The Senior Champion plus three (3) seniors from NBGA Member Clubs who have compiled the best gross scores after 54 holes of play are eligible for selection as a member of Team NB. See Team Guidelines for further details.

3. Tee Times/Draw Information Where possible, competitors will all tee-off hole number 1. Tee-times will be in 10 minute intervals. The first day tee-times will be done by handicap beginning with lower handicapped entries and continuing to higher handicapped entries. Attempts will be made to have individuals from different clubs paired together. Tee-times may be influenced by previous provincial results and the defending champion will tee-off first if entered. The second day tee-times will be in reverse order of first round scores. The third day tee-times will be in reverse order of combined first & second round scores.
4. Automotive Transportation The use of automotive transportation is permitted. Carts must be booked directly with the club.
5. Format 54-hole stroke play championship. The event is played in 18-hole stipulated rounds over three consecutive days. The event is a Gross Championship.

Divisions: Senior: 55 - 69 years of age
Super Senior: 70 years and over

NOTE: the NBGA reserves the right to cancel a division or merge it with another division if insufficient numbers of entries are received.

6. Prizes  Prizes: To be determined.

The Senior and Super Senior Champions for the event will be invited guests of the New Brunswick Golf Association at the Association's Annual Louisbourg Investments Golf Awards Dinner scheduled for the Fredericton Inn on October 27th, 2007.

9. Practice Rounds

Practice rounds will be permitted by the host club anytime the week prior to the championship.  Players should book their practice rounds by calling (800) 980-8747
