36-hole Modified Pinehurst championship. The event is played in 18-hole stipulated rounds over two consecutive days. The event is both a Gross and Net Championship. Modified Pinehurst Scoring: Both partners drive from each tee and then each plays a second shot with their partners ball. After the second shots have been played, teams must make a choice as to which ball they will complete play of the hole. This will be done playing alternate shots. On par threes, the selection is made after the tee shots. Net Scoring: Team handicaps will be determined by taking 60% of the lower partner's handicap and 40% of the higher partner's handicap. |
