MATCHES TO BE PLAYED:
Saturday morning: 6 foursome matches
Saturday afternoon: 6 four ball bestball matches
Sunday morning: 12 single match play matches
RULES OF THE COMPETITION:
a) Draws will be blind. Captains will give lists of players assigned to matches to be played which will be put up against the opposing teams. This will be done prior to each set of matches.
b) Each of the 24 matches will have a weight of one point
c) Any match which was halved will be considered halved and each side will be awarded one-half point.
d) The defender will only have to earn a half in the matches to successfully defend the cup.
e) Matches will only by counted if all matches in the flight, i.e. the six foursome matches or the six four ball bestball matches or the 12 singles matches, were completed. Provided however, if any of the teams have acquired 12 points during the singles competition, the match will be considered won at that point regardless of a subsequent rainout. |
