The use of automotive transportation is not permitted in this event.
In an effort to accommodate disabilities, the NBGA can allow, in exceptional circumstances, use of a power cart or other special equipment by a player who otherwise qualified for an amateur event and cannot, in the opinion of the Rules Committee for the competition, participate in such competition because of serious permanent physical impairment. Such use can be denied if the Rules Committee believes that the use of such a power cart, or other special equipment, would give a player an undue advantage over other players in the competition.
A current medical certificate along with a signed letter from the competitor?s medical doctor describing the disability and explaining the player?s needs, must be submitted at the time of entry filing. |
