1. Field Size

Maximum 120 Teams.

2. Eligibility

At least one (1) member of each team must be a member of an NBGA Club or member in good standing of any recognized Golf Association (Professionals welcome). All amateurs should be in possession of a recognized handicap card that has been properly attested. Amateur competitors without a recognized handicap card will play as follows:
14 and over play as scratch;
13 and under determine an equitable handicap

3. Practice Round

Practice rounds can be booked 48 hours in advance. 

Practice Rounds must be played on July 24th.

Contact the Pro Shop directly to book your practice round.

4. Automotive Transportation

The use of automotive transportation is allowed. Competitors must make their own arrangements with the host club. The use of a cart is not guaranteed.

5. Format

18-hole stroke play alternate shot championship. The event is a Gross Championship.

Gross Scores: Players alternate teeing off on each hole and playing the team's ball during a hole.
Net Scores: The team's handicap is determined by adding together the team's individual handicaps and dividing by two (2). The handicap will be rounded to the nearest 0.50.

Divisions: The field will be divided into four divisions: Father/Son, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Daughter

6. Prizes

To be determined.

The winning gross team in each division will be invited guests of the New Brunswick Golf Association at the Association's Annual Louisbourg Investments Golf Awards Dinner scheduled for the Memramcook Institute on October 25th, 2008.
